Business with no integrity

The incident took place on the 11 June 2016 , the claim was lodged the immediate next day (12 June 2016). Hexagon fire came to inspect the site the next day, they then informed us post inspection that they were satisfied with our claim and assured us that they would report the incident to the insurance company therefore instructing us to clean up and remove all the debris from the site. Due to everything being in order according to Hexagon Fire, our claim should have been paid after the inspection. It is the insurance company who , even though they incurred the risk don’t want to honour their own policy, taking advantage of small businesses. We believe that they may be saving money by repeating these unjust actions and doing wrong to other people who claim aswell which is very unfair.

We are so hurt and upset that we feel that this matter should be put in national social media to encourage others with the same complaints to come forward and join forces with us. It must be noted that the policy was cancelled shortly after the incident to our further prejudice. We would appreciate if Santam could step in and accept that we as their client have been treated unfairly and that they should see to the matter and pay us our claim.
