Central University of Technology refusing to provide me with my qualification certificate after employees error.

Hi,

In 2025 after paying my outstanding fees, I requested for assistance in obtaining my qualification certificate or equivalent certificate from the Central University of Technology as the course has been phased out. In 2021 there was an error made on my marks by the institution and it was fixed, however the institution did not record that the qualification had been completed and I had submitted the relevant forms at the time for graduation.

I sent emails to Ms Charne Swanepoel (Assessment and Graduation Unit) emails regarding the matter however she did not respond to my emails and was at some point taking my calls with her response only being that she is busy with the matter she will revert to me. The issue has dragged on for over a year heading to two years and it is affecting me negatively at my current job and I am struggling to register for the relevant professional registration (SACPMP) because of the outstanding certificate.

I am still withought my qualification for B. Tech Construction Management and it really hurts and I feel undermined due to the treatment I received and that I studied even in my poor health at the time only to not get my certificate.
