Zambezi Heights: Great Staff, Terrible Management

I had a very disappointing experience with Central Developments Zambezi Heights. They literally forced me to leave the apartment before 12:30 on a Friday, even though I had not refused to move out — I simply requested to leave later in the day because I had work commitments.

Despite this, I ended up moving out on Thursday night, in the rain, just to avoid further harassment. What they did was not only unreasonable but also ********, yet I chose to walk away for my own peace of mind. When I moved in last year on 11 December which was a mid month, I still paid the full month’s rent, which was already unfair. On top of that, their electricity metering system feels like a complete **** , and there’s never proper clarity on how the billing actually works. It’s frustrating and exploitative.

They also use ************ tactics, even threatening that “big guys” will come to throw your belongings out , absolutely unprofessional behavior from a company of their size.

That said, I want to acknowledge the maintenance team and on-site staff - they are genuinely kind, respectful, and hardworking people. I sincerely wish them all the best in their careers. But as for the management or whoever is calling the shots, I have nothing good to say. The entire experience makes me wonder whether even the staff are happy working under such leadership.

Thankfully, I’ve now moved to a better and bigger place, worth every penny and I couldn’t be more relieved.
