Worst service and communication

<p>I rented through Central Development at Boardwalk Heights. There are so many negatives I will list only the worst.</p> <p> </p> <p>First of all the people who live there are so noisy late at night but management never does anything but threaten with fines that are never followed through.</p> <p> </p> <p>I get an sms that my electricity will be cut off for an arrears adjustment, even though I paid my rent. I phone Centraldev to remedy the situation and Adrea Leitao is so rude, and basically tells me Boardwalk Management was supposed to inform me about some extra fee I have to pay that is NOT in my contract. She cannot tell me what that is for. I then buy R600 electricity to get my electricity back on. I contact Stefan at Boardwalk Management and he tells me that Centraldev must inform me about extra charges- so basically nobody can tell me what is going on! After a huge fuss the amount withdrawn is reversed, leaving me with over R800 utilities which i cannot possibly use in my last month living there, but surpise - it cannot be refunded so I lose that money!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Since I moved in my fron door struggles to open and cannot lock, a year later and many empty promises later I moved out and it still was not fixed.</p> <p> </p> <p>After all this drama management threatens me with a R50 fine when I ask them once to unlock my unit for me! So will they be fining the noisy tenants? And tenants who blatantly break all the rules? No they will fine me for asking help in an emergency. Sorry asking you to unlock a door is so much to ask.</p> <p> </p> <p>All the children in this place drove me crazy. They scream and run in the streets . I was told by my agent that this place is for single tenants only, and yet so many families of three or four are squeezed into these units just for the money.</p> <p> </p> <p>I return my keys, plus the extra set I had made only to be told I have not returned my keys and it will be withdrawn from the deposit.</p> <p> </p> <p>After emailing Andrea at Centraldev about all these issues she responds with: please take it up with Stefan.</p> <p> </p> <p>Typical, no one will take responsibility. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
