Unhappy client
I was told that my house is Sold and I must move out month end of March . I spoke to the Estate Manager Abrie and he agree that I must buy the paint so that they can do the maintenance of the house, today I brought the paint. Abrie is telling me they already charge me so I won’t be able to get my deposit back. How did he expect me to buy paint during lock down. If this how they treat people this is unfair. They must take the paint and give my deposit back

You vacated your unit before lockdown started. The estate manager informed you that they can do the maintenance for you without deducting this from your deposit if you provided them with the paint the same day, and then the paperwork could be processed accordingly before the lockdown starts. You did not return to the estate. You only came to the estate today, a month after moving out which in this case was too late as they had to continue with the restoration of the unit. The charges was processed towards your account, therefore we won’t unfortunately be able to refund you the deposit.
We regret any misunderstandings.
