********* management at woodlands place. central developments
i would like to report the unprofessional ethics on one of central development apartments called woodlands place in pretoria east. oon the 7th of march 2021 i noticed that my car has been damaged, two of my passenger tyres have been slashed and when i ask management to check the camera in order to find out what transpired, their response is that it is an SAPS issue and that there is none they can do on their side. my questions is why do they call themselves a security complex whereby our assets are being damaged on their property and on the presence of security which is clear that they do not care about the tenants wellbeing.

Even though we promote state-of-the-art security with strict security measures in place, including perimeter cameras, electric fencing, biometric access and boomed gates, we cannot facilitate security cameras everywhere in the complex.
Please refer to section seventeen, point twenty in your signed lease agreement. Tenants are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance as a safeguard for unprecedented circumstances as the Landlord cannot be held responsible for any damages caused.
Residing in SA comes with its own challenges. We cannot guarantee that there will be no ******** activity, therefore it is advisable to report the matter with the SAPD in order for your insurance to accommodate you.
We will do all within our power to ensure the safety of our tenants and our security will also continue to be on high alert as no ******** activity will be tolerated.
