Targeting of tenants.
It has come to my attention that there is a marginalisation and targeting of tenants at Lemon Tree apartments. After I moved in I was accused of noise making. Where else the noise was really managed. A week later I was warned by a security guard that I was on the hot or heatlist. Then my unit was reported to be noisy and I was not around. I thought it was a mistake of proximity. However there was a second complaint and I was not in my apartment. A neighbor of mine approached me to tell me that I was in a targeted unit because of the previous owner. Now anyone who hears noise in that block reports my unit. I raised my concern with the security and one shift told me it's their job and the other shift confirmed the was something going on with the old tenants but they are just forced to do their job. Yesterday I overheard a conversation between a security guard and one of the tenants discussing how they got some tenants evicted as a sign of victory and asking who is next.
In conclusion If Lemon Tree apartments is run according to a certain click of people or creed can they please stipulate it in their terms and conditions and rules. Because there is alot of dissatisfaction from the tenants and they always hide behind the rules which are biasly used to oppress tenants. One of cases was that one of the elite tenants complained about noise where a baby was crying because it was not well. Fortunately the security guard used his common sense and did not write the infringement. Yet they can bring maintance services 3 time a week which can run lawn mowers; grass cutters and blowers from 9am- 4pm while working from home and they don't consider that noise. This situation is unbearable and needs urgent intervention.
Thank you for your feedback.
The landlord is responsible for the upkeep of the estate therefore, our garden service and maintenance are scheduled during office hours to ensure that the premises are well kept and tidy.
We can ensure that the estate is under new management and has a strict no noise policy. There is no favoritism, and the rules apply to all tenants equally.
Management will contact you for an appointment to personally assist you with your complaint.
We take this matter very seriously. We make use of a third-party service provider where you may report any staff or security-related complaint should management be unable to assist you.
