Serious Safety Concerns and Management Negligence at Central Developments MASAI LOFTS

I am writing this to share my experience with Central Developments at Masai Lofts, as we have felt completely unsupported regarding our safety during the year and a half that I have lived here. We have faced ongoing misconduct from residents in the unit directly above us who throw *******, debris, and foreign objects from their balcony into our private garden. When we originally tried to resolve this in good faith, we were met with aggressive and abusive behavior.

Management’s only response was to tell us to resolve the issue directly with the neighbors. This was an unsafe and inappropriate instruction that led to a dangerous escalation last year where I was physically attacked by two women from that unit in front of my children. During the attack, they tore my shirt and scratched my face. Immediately after the altercation, my husband, a lady security guard, and I went straight to the office. The agent there saw me in that state—with my clothes torn and blood on my face—and was the one who pointed out the scratches to me. However, that agent completely stopped updating us and would actively avoid me whenever he saw me. I have sent so many written complaints that I have honestly lost count definitely more than five yet nothing was done. Recently, on 23 December 2025, the behavior started again from the same unit. A resident poured piles of filthy water onto my patio, was dismissive when confronted, and slammed the door in my face even with a security guard present. We went back to the office to seek help from a different agent, and the manager, Alex, was right there. However, Alex called me later that day only to say he "couldn't get hold of" the women. It is unacceptable that management claims they cannot reach tenants living in their own building to address recurring harassment.

Despite the history of violence and the fact that the Conduct Rules clearly forbid objects being thrown from balconies, management has failed to issue infringement notices or fines. It is highly unprofessional that the tenant query site was closed, shifting the burden onto security personnel. It feels as though management has simply dodged their responsibilities and passed the tough jobs to security. The total lack of enforcement suggests a conflict of interest or that certain residents are being protected. If you value your family’s safety, I suggest looking elsewhere.
