Route 82 development, Kibler park are the biggest ********

I moved it at Route 82 Central Development in September 2018. Everything was well in my stay, I didn't have issues that required me to interact with the management until I moved out. I served a 2 months notice period from January 2020 and moved out on the 28 February 2020. The exit inspection went well, the inspector was very impressed at how well I kept the place after such a long period, unfortunately it needed re-painting which I was told that R2300 will be deducted from my deposit. Today, on the 16 March 2020, I enquired about my deposit after mot hearing from them, since their documents state that I will receive my deposit payout within 14 days after evacuation. To my surprise, Emma sent me a document stating that after the paint deduction, the difference of my deposit will be paying for my lease cancellation penalty, and referred me to a clause in my initial contract that state that the company may charge a reasonable fee lease cancellation penalty. I explained that I stayed and finished my initial lease, and she rep**** stating that the lease extension that I signed there after is still and initial lease. I enquired about the accrued interest of my deposit, she did not even bother to account for that. Their ******** ways are shocking, but I will take the case further, though it is really a waste of time and money. I would never recommend the place to anyone!!!
