Route 82 Development - Deposit ****!!!!!

My fiance and I app**** for an apartment @ the Route 82 Development on the 23rd of November 2018 and we were helped by a guy named Max. After couple of days we got a call that the application has been approved . we the went on the 1st of December to view the apartment we were supposed to move in to and we also signed a lease contract. On the same day after couple of hours , we called and cancelled the lease and we were told by Max that the "manager" will advise about the matter regarding our refund as we didn't move in to the apartment . My fiance then sent a formal email cancelling the lease to the manager named Simphiwe whom they said he is the one who authorizes refunds and all, we have called and emailed this Simphiwe but still haven't got any response from them, everytime when we call Simphiwe he gives us runarounds and tells us that he will respond to us before COB every single day, this is almost the 7th day but still no response what so ever . I cannot believe how they do business if they cannot respond to a mere email , the customer service is whack , they wanna rip us off and take all our deposit that is why they haven't responded, they are probably thinking of ******** us our deposit and we need that money back...we didn't move in so it is only fair we get it but how are we going to reach consensus when they don't even bother to respond to the emails or call us back to show that they are trying to solve the issue . They all look professional but act like ********* when they have to give you back your deposit , i should have listened when i was told that they are ****** !!!!!!
