POOR TEMPORARY WALKWAY BRIDGE - DANGER FOR PEOPLE - CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT

Construction Work at Manhattan Lofts, Alberton Central Development. Am disappointed by the Scaffolding Walk Bridge to the BP Garage. 1. The Bridge does not have Lightning Protection 2. The Bridge is Substandards, walkway should be atleast 1.2m wide, yours currenty is less than 0.6m wide. 3.The bridge is not secured on the ground, all the footings are pad planted on top 4, The bridge is over 4m high and does not have sides structural supports 5. Material used is for construction working platform with harness, not meant for public walkway 6.Side Fencing wires are protruding and posing a danger to the public 7. The Platform does not have any sign and instruction to users

My advise is to suspend the walkway immediately as l would like to invite the Department of Labour for such a shoddy job. YOU ARE PUTTING PEOPLES' LIVES AT RISK.

Other matter - There is no noise preventation from construction sites, and ussually there is poor barrocading which exposes kids at the property. I advise a solid structure should be build up.

To Central Development,

Your email failed to address issues l raised but you responded that it meets requirements.

Which Standards and were is the Reference to your statement below.

Open books for OHS Requirements and Civil Structural Designs did you prove your statement.

Your Site Construction Fence was down the whole of October and December 2021, your teams are at fault and you do not need to defend them.

This is a genuine concern and you're ignoring this concern

Am still waiting for the independent Engineer & OHS Inspection Report on matters raised above. Central Development has not provided a feedback yet, please advise, and thank you closing the bridge.
