POOR service from the landlord

I am a tenant to one of 2LetNow properties (Oxford Heights), I missed one payment due to unforeseen circumstance, I even emailed to make arrangements on how to repay the arrears the following month as double payment, No one called me nor acknowledged my email all I only received an automated email with banking details. I even made a little payment of R1500 and I never received any acknowledgment.

Today they made a shock of my life and switch of the electricity without a simple warning, no one knocked at my door to notify me... I have now stressed seating stranded with 5 months pregnant woman and 5 years baby boy without electricity. When I go to their maintenance center they told me that they cannot help... Last month there were heavy rains and the roof of the unit was leaking water from the ceiling and you could see from the wardrobe there was mold and deterioration due to ongoing water leakage which gives evidence that they don't even maintain their units. What surprises me the most is that their people who are tenants as me from some agent and they had been owing for months but they never evicted nor switched off their lights but SOME OF US THEY WERE QUICK TO SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS OR IS BECAUSE OF MY SKIN COLOR???

I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I FIND ANSWERS WHY I WAS SWITCHED OFF LIGHTS IN MONTH, UNLIKE ANY OTHER TENANTS WHO HAVE BEEN OWING FOR MONTHS???

WHERE IS TCF HERE??? THIS IS BULL****

Good day Andrew

According to our records, you did not miss a payment, you disputed payment.  You did not commit to your previous payment arrangements.  Currently, we have no arrangements in place.

Please take note that we did not switch off your electricity.  We do not assist with maintenance when a tenant is in arrears as there are call-out fees involved.

Please make arrangements with our accounts division for us to assist with your maintenance queries.
It remains the responsibility of our tenants to pay their rent on time so that we can render a proper service.

Regards,
Management

Best regards,
