Not Paid Full Deposit

<p>My husband and I moved out of San Ridge Village on the 31st of May 2016.</p> <p>My husband was away so I did the Final check with Sharon Ncube and she approved that everything was good with the flat and she signed off. I forgot to ask for a copy of the release document, the one we both signed saying everything is good with the venue, so I called and emailed asking Sharon asking her to take a picture of the documents/**** and send them to us. She kept saying she would then when my husband went to the office she said the documents had been handed over to management. In that week Sharon told me that there would be a R150.00 fine for cleaning, she said it definitely won’t be more than that.</p> <p>A few days after Marlese Gounden asks for our banking details and tells us we are only getting back R5400.00 from our R6000.00 deposit. To our surprise we email Marlese cc Marinus van den Berg and Sharon Ncube and tell them we were told only R150.00 will be taken from our deposit for cleaning. Marinus van den Berg emails</p> <p>“Dear Babalwa</p> <p>On the out inspection, that is signed by you, there is a note in the general comment section that the unit needs to be cleaned as it was not up to the standard that we require. I am sorry if the price was miscommunicated to you but the standardized price for professional cleaners to come and clean the unit after you have vacated the premises is R600.00.”</p> <p>He is sorry the price was miscommunicated? REALLY??!! Your staff communicates the wrong information and I must pay??!! NO!!</p> <p>People cannot be treated like this.
