No deposit after moving out

Sanridge heights in Midrand managed by Central developments gave me disappointing service when I was supposed to move out. Firstly I was charged for damages that I found at the flat when I moved in. The inspector insisted on charging me for the damage even after I informed him that the damage was there when I moved in. Instead he was rude throughout the inspection process. I was supposed to get my deposit 14 days after I move out but I still have not received it. I got an email that I will only get it in 2021. The admin department is disorganized and ***********.

Good day Zesuliwe

Kindly take note that you were charged for damages that were not noted on your in-inspection.
If a tenant discovers any damage or defect after the in-inspection, the tenant must notify the landlord in writing of such damage or defect within 7days after occupying the apartment.  The landlord will respond with written acknowledgment confirming these defects.    We do not have any communication in writing from you on record.

We do apologize for the delay in your deposit refund.  Unfortunately, this division is closed for the festive season and will reopen in early January.  We will follow up and ensure that any monies owing to you are refunded as a matter of urgency.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Client Care
