Little Manhattan
I was a tenant at Little Manhattan East Village in Pretoria West. We paid R5200 deposit and when our lease agreement came to an end, Manhattan is refusing to pay our deposit. They saying we will not get a cent because we put notice on the 6th instead of the 1st. I will not encourage anyone to rent there. They are ripping people off!

We apologise for any inconvenience you might have experienced. Unfortunately your termination did not fall within the required notice period of 20 business days as per clause 7 in your rental agreement. Since the contract clearly states that the deposit will not be refunded in the case of a late notice period of the lease agreement, this is the course of action which was taken in this case.
