In Human service at Route 82

I have been living at Rout82 in Kibler Park. I moved in last December with two Cars. One parks in the designated parking and the one in the visitors parking. My Husband parks in the designated i park in visitors. I drove both cars in on the day we moved in and we have been using these cars. Since Lockdown due to unforseen circumstances we had to use one car. My car has been parked since and a month into lockdown I tried starting the car, it wouldnt we suspected because the battery was flat and we left it hopeing to bring in a mechanic to come and check it out for us. We could not bring a mechanic as vivitors are not aloowed in the premises due to this Pandemic. Last night i come back from work and my car is not there. I go to security to ask and they dont know what happened. Lucky one of the stuff working for Route 82 was around and told me my car could have been towed because it was parked for long. I asked if they sent someone to communicate this to me and they said they were not obliged as he did put a sticker on it a week earlier (That I did not see). I then asked for contacts of the person who took my car. I call this Guy today Wednesday 5 August 2020 at 9 in the morning. He laughs and says yes I do have you car, You have to pay me R3500 to get it back. I asked why so much money he says that how they Operate.

Now my question is that could the body corp of Rout82 not verbally comunicate this with us and maybe try and find out why the car is parked and when we intend on moving it before he takes such drastic steps? Mind you there are other cars parked in the complex that are not moving, tires flat but have not been taken in. They are very quick to give us a call and remind us to pay rent before month end but cannot walk to my Unit and ask me to move my car? The body Copr is alwasy there, we see him everyday but in such a case he cannot inform us?

Afew weeks back there were gunshot in the complex, when we asked what was going on the security just looked at us and walked away, no communication was sent to the residents explaining this, we sent emails and phone calls and were told they will get back to us. How safe are we in this Complex? and now when they have the upper hand this is what they do to some of us their tenants. I am so disgusted . I cannot wait to move out of this complex
