Horrible Experience - San Ridge Heights

I wouldn’t advice anyone to stay here. Moved in the complex with a stove that was working only 2 plates and it took them more than 6mnths to come fix it. June was suppose to end my contract and I decided to terminate after I received two calls of being investigated for Dtugs and prostitution just because I Generate a lot of ENTRY CODES. Apparently that is “suspicious”

We work from home and order online due to pandemic and YES I do have friends that come over from time to time and I use Uber but I didn’t know there’s a limit in CODES entry to a point you get investigated. Last year my son was staying with me and his school transport uses codes to come pick and drop him and they called to say I generate a lot of CODES. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT! A place you pay monthly Rental treats you like you in College Residential

I was shocked when I received a call that they even looked at “Bank debit orders” during the investigation I’m not sure HOW they got access to that but it’s SCARY maybe @Capitec Bank will tell me when I follow up on this

I had a break in a year ago and NO ONE even cared about the things I lost they never even followed up they just fixed the broken door and moved on. . Imagine in a COMPLEX. NOW I am told I am not going to get my deposit since I’m moving out before contract END after such treatment. I can’t wait to move out

Good day Vuyo

We have a standard security protocol that we are obligated to follow.  This procedure applies to all tenants equally.  Once a certain amount of entry codes have been exceeded (what we deem as seemingly normal), we conduct an investigation to ensure that there are no ******* activities or unwanted guests in our estate.  With that said, we survey certain information, without violating the privacy of our tenants.  We do what is in our power to ensure the safety of our tenants.

Our maintenance team is available seven days a week.  Our turnaround time on emergencies is twenty-four to seventy-two hours.  It is highly irregular that your stove could have taken six months to be repaired.

Concerning the alleged break-in, it is your responsibility to be insured as we cannot be held liable for any damages.  Even though we promote state-of-the-art security with strict security measures in place, we cannot guarantee that there will be no ******** activity.  Unfortunately, it is a reality that we all face in our country.

In conclusion - you have signed a contract, therefore by law, you are bound by the terms and conditions stipulated therein.
You haven't given sufficient notice, neither have you stayed for the duration of your signed lease agreement.  This is regarded as a breach of contract and a penalty is chargeable.
We apologize if you were offended by our security checks.  Unfortunately, that is not a valid reason for breach of contract and you will therefore forfeit your deposit should you terminate your contract now.
Please refer to Section twenty-one and one point twenty-nine in your signed lease agreement.

We apologize for any misunderstanding.

Regards,
Client care

Best regards,
