False advertising and poor quality of houses
These people sold us lies at Leopards Rest, made us believe that we’re buying into a security estate whereas we’re buying into a gates township. Poor quality of houses, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, also their sister companies CSI and Cosmopolitan Projects.

Over the past four years, Cosmopolitan Projects has made a concerted effort to assist the residents of Leopard’s Rest, upon their insistence, to improve the security of the development and has been communicating with them continuously regarding the process. Cosmopolitan Projects' road closure application, on behalf of the residents, was formally approved by Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council in October 2018 permitting the boom gates at the entrance to the development to control, but not fully restrict, access to Leopard’s Rest.
The security measures at Leopard’s Rest include a perimeter wall topped by electric fencing, patrolling security guards, and boom gates manned by security guards at its entrance. Based on these security measures, it is advertised as a security estate. Since there is no formal definition or stipulations to determine what constitutes a security estate, classifying Leopard’s Rest as a security estate is not false advertising since it does offer its residents extensive security but with access control as opposed to fully restricted access.
