Electricity switched off
I have been staying at Thatch Hill Estate since 2015. This month I have fallen behind on my rental & have been in communication with them via email (I email, they never reply). I have told them that by end of July I will ensure my rent for July, Aug & Sep will be paid. If they could just please bear with me at this time.
I’m only outstanding the month of July 2020 which I am fully aware & responsible to pay for. Unfortunately they have not answered my emails. They have switched off my electricity & cancelled my access for visitors at the gate.
The person that is responsible on site, Michael, is really bad at communicating. He will tell you he is looking into your matter & never come back. He spoke to my husband on Monday & told him he was not on site, yet 20 mins later I saw him at one of the other houses, taking pictures, yet he had **** to my husband.
I have been messaging with him yesterday, 21 July & I am still waiting for him to come back to me with feedback. It’s unfortunate that this is supposed customer service.
If they are not allowed to switch on my electricity & have to remove me from the gate access for visitors then that’s their prerogative. But they owe me communication as I have been communicating with them. They owe me that little respect of just advising that my request is not possible until I make payment on my account.
I’m sorry but this type of customer service is not good. And after seeing that another reviewer was evicted from their home for being outstanding payment for July, I now fear that the same could happen to me. Even though government has gazetted that no one is allowed to be evicted during Covid.
