ELectricity disconnected
I have been renting at central development, the junction 2 now for almost three years. I have never skipped a payment and always pay a week and a half in advance except in this year October 2020. They switched my electricity off. I got legal advice that they are not allowed to take the law into their own hands. I had to go into the office and make an arrangemenet with Pardon. I told him that I can pay the outstanding amount in December but he said no. I then had to make an alternative arrangement to pay half of outstanding before the 15th, normal rental payment on the 15th and then the other half in one month. I told him that I will see what I can do. On the 15th of November I paid the full amount plus R650 extra and today I am 5 days behind on December's rent.
I phoned yesterday and nobody at Head Office or anybody else want to assist me. I dont have alternative options and this has been a rough year. My electricity is off again since yesterday and telling them I will be able to pay by the end of next week as it is December, they are not willing to assist me. I have a child at home and I really dont understand that you would litterly disconnect prepaid electricity to force payment if I really cant for another week
