Deposit paid to Central Development Mi-Storage and for Rental

Message details below: First name: Lehlogonolo Last name: Masete Mobile number: *** Email address: *** Message: Good morning Incident 1 My name is Lehlogonolo i was signed a month to month lease agreement with mi-storage and had been extending it monthly then last moth i called them to let them know that i will be taking out my things in the storage and indeed i moved out my things in their storage but they wont pay back my deposit because i called them on the 8th to tell them that i will be moving my staff out of the storage. Incident 2 I was renting an apartment at Boardwalk Heights and then i did send an email letting them know that i will be moving out the following month. To my surprise i was told that you signed 12 month contract and you going to loose your deposit. I don`t understand why are they refusing to pay back our deposit money. I want all of my money paid to this Company Central Development. The Hellopeter Team
We have a standard clause, similar to the property industry that we require 20 business days’ notice before vacating the property. You will find most self-storage companies follow similar rules. This will give the landlord enough time to look for a new tenant and cancel your debit order in time.
As per your signed contract we stipulated on clause 5 "You may cancel this Agreement by giving Us 20 Business Days’ notice, in writing, of Your intention to cancel the Agreement.", you also signed and initialed the page. We apologize if you feel this was unclear.
