My lease with Boardwalk Heights ended on 31 January 2019, I paid my rent for January as usual, and moved out on 5 January due to a new job in a new province. I have been in contact with Charlene van Tonder , site manager for Boardwalk Heights since 25 January trying to get back my deposit and this has proofed fruitless as she was firstly unaware that I had vacated my flat, even though a new tenant was already moved into my flat in the last week of January. I have been been going back and forth with her for almost a month now, with multiple inconsistent excuses, poor follow up and empty promises to refund my deposit. The company even debited February rent from my account in spite of having a new tenant since the last week of January, which I had to reverse with my bank. With no comment or apology from them 7 weeks after vacating the flat, I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned.
This very poor service.
