Breach of Trust & Ongoing Mismanagement at Masai Lofts

We moved into Masai Lofts believing we were joining a genuinely pet-friendly community—this was a non-negotiable factor in our decision. Yet since April, our experience has been marked by persistent disruption, safety concerns, and an alarming lack of accountability from management.

Despite multiple reports of children targeting our dog—throwing objects into our yard, causing distress and behavioral changes—management has repeatedly deflected. They’ve gone so far as to imply that the dog’s mere presence is the root cause of the harassment, rather than acknowledging poor oversight within the complex. This logic is not only deeply flawed, it shifts blame away from the real issue: inadequate enforcement of basic communal conduct.

Even after requesting escalation to senior leadership due to ineffective local management, we’ve been ignored. Our requests for a relocation timeline or written clarity on the internal transfer process remain unfulfilled.

It’s now clear that the “pet-friendly” promise was misleading, and the continual dismissal of our concerns shows a disturbing disregard for tenant well-being. As such, we formally request the following:

• A full refund of our deposit • Termination of our lease without penalty • Immediate escalation of this matter to regional or executive management

This situation is no longer about compromise—it’s about respect, safety, and basic fairness. We will not continue to tolerate being undermined, gaslit, or silenced in a space that was supposed to be our home.
