Signing of power of attorney

Wanted to sign up with the casting agency and was asked to sign a power of attorney which gave the agent full power to do on my behalf 'anything that it can lawfully do'. I found this to be too wide powers and wanted to discuss it but was told to sign or leave.<br> I would have no problem giving power of attorney for anything relating to the relationship between agency/myself and any TV or film producer or the like. <br> Wonder how many people have signed that documents unaware of the possible consequences. <br> And it is no good to say 'but we would never do that'.<br>
