#school fees must fall

this school overcharge for registration for next for the current year it was R1000 for next year it's R1600 how can a single mother be able to afford this huge increase & to top it of they demand balance of school fees be paid on full. how can the school governing body be so inconsiderate coz after the pandemic hit lots of people have no jobs & a lot took pay cuts. everyone knows that lots of students didn't go back to school why bcoz they can't afford it. this school should not threaten parents in that way its pathetic. you always see on tv about parents getting encouraged to educate their children but can u when u get school like centenary threaten parents with this can of attitude. I'm a pensioner & my grandchildren attend this school & when I heard about this I was upset my personal opinion is single parents should be allowed to pay a portion of the cost. not be threatened by no report & no place for next year they should talk to parents & make some kind of arrangements not turn learners away our government has failed us in every walk of life in SouthAfrica the department of education should do something about this coz lots of finds seem to he unaccounted for in SouthAfrica every thing is ******* here ..no more words to describe the pathetic state this country is in
