Disgusting Customer Service
On 8 October 2019 my vehicle was towed to this company under warranty. It was clearly informed to them what the error reading on the vehicle was showing to be the problem. Two days later Lezahn phoned my husband and told him that the diagnostic was done and the vehicle showed an engine speed management error. This was told to her on the Tuesday when the vehicle was delivered. She told my husband that the account is R1900. 00 thus far. FIRSTLY - WHY NOT LISTEN TO WHAT MY HUSBAND SAID & CHECKED THE DASHBOARD WHERE THE VEHICLE HAD ALREADY DONE ITS OWN DIAGNOSTICS AND REPORTED THE ERROR. SECONDLY: WHY NO CALLS PRIOR TO DOING ANYTHING ON THE VEHICLE. THIRDLY: WHY DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO THE FACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED IN UNDER MY WARRANTY AND MAKE THE NECESSARY CONTACT WITH THE WARRANTY COMPANY. Between 8 & 14 October 2019 after numerous phone calls between myself, Bosch & the warranty company (all our costs) including my husband personally going to Bosch - only to be informed that Bosch only lodged the claim on 10/10/19 and the warranty company only received the requested documents late in the afternoon 11/10/19. Yet again phone calls at our cost did I establish that not all the required documents had been received. To late to act had to wait for Monday 13/10/19 to continue. This was the first time I was made aware of what needed to be done, costs that warranty will cover & what we needed to pay (10 days later). To put the cherry on the cake - Bosch informed my husband that the aircon had to be repaired over R9000. 00 & if not done he won't be able to drive the vehicle. It was then that I got a contact with an Audi specialist, sent him the Bosch diagnostics report & told him everything we were told. He informed me that they were not being honest with us & actually phoned Bosch on my behalf to inform them of their ********* conduct. The part which should have been replaced under warranty was done. 2 1/2 weeks later we got the car back. Had to pay the R1900. 00 + cost of sensor repair (also not discussed prior to the work been done) - before they would release the vehicle. The sensor was not fixed but we had enough of Bosch did not feel like dealing with them anymore. GUESS WHAT - THE VEHICLE HAS JUST BEEN TOWED AGAIN FOR EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM + PLUS WE NOTICED A PATCH OF OIL EXACTLY UNDER THE SPOT WHERE THE "APPARANT NEW PART' WAS REPLACED. WE HAVE REPORTED ALL OF THIS TO THE WARRANTY COMPANY WITH THE HOPE THAT THEY ASSIST US IN HOLDING BOSCH ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL OUR INCONVENIENCE AND OWN POCKET EXPENSES AND ALONG WITH THAT LOSE THEIR ACCREDITATION. Stay away from Cencar Bosch Centurion
