Cell C device insurance company

Good day

My name is Moses Diseko

I am not happy with the service that I got from one of cell c insurance consultants.

Last month I got a call from them offering me an insurance for the new device that I have upgraded to.

So I took that insurance and I had an existing insurance for a P30 which I had it for now close to 5 years. I asked him if the insurance that I am taking won't affect the insurance that is existing and he confirmed that it won't, how ever the P30 is not linked to any number and which number can he link it to and I told him to link it to the *** number. But when he was linking this number to the P30, he canceled the existing insurance and activated a new insurance. So when I saw the statement I could see that something is wrong.

So today I called the insurance company and I asked and this was confirmed that, the existing insurance was canceled. So my question is is as a customer and a sane person how can I cancel an insurance that is been existing for years and open a new one for the same device that is been insured all along. What if my device gets damaged or get lost before the waiting period.

This must be fixed or I must get My refund for all the years I've been paying this insurance and continue with the new insurance. And when I called I asked to speak to the supervisor but I was holding for more than 15 minutes, my time got wasted without talking to the supervisor.
