Default not removed after 48 hours as promised

Ceebee Debt Management Solution - a default was added to my account in March but I only saw it now In July 2024 when I was applying for a job I then called the collecting agency to get some clarity and I was assured if I paid the whole amount I will be able to clear my name and the default will be taken off my credit profile with 48 hours. I paid the settlement amount in full and since then nothing has been done to remove the default as it is still there, and I ended up not getting the job I app**** for because of this.
