The Worst Customer Service in My 20 Years of Driving Cars From BMW Cedar Isle!

I still can't believe that I sold my Mercedes and decided to buy my first BMW. It has been one of the worst experience in my life but as far as customers service. This was from BMW Cedar Isle, BMW SA ( Who basically just shrug their shoulders and say they can't do anything ) and one of the most arrogant sales manager I have ever come across called Graham Schultz ( ********** )

I bought a BMW 4 Series that started falling apart within the first week. They said they will fix it and keeps sending it back to me without having fixed it ( I know as I marked some of the parts that needs to be fixed and the marks are still there so the part was never replaces. ).

They then gave me a loan car for a couple of weeks and I informed them that I will take it CAPE TOWN on holiday and I got a e-mail to confirm this is ok.

When I cam back from CT my car was still not fixed ( Buy they said it was. Once again the marks was still there ) so I continue to drive the loan car.

They then said they want to loan car back and my car is fixed and they won't be fixing anything else and that I have 24 hours to bring the loan car back.

Obviously I didn't as my car isn't fixed.

For the next 7 days I was insulted, treated like ****, **** to, told I was a lair ( They even said they never gave me permission to drive the car to CT. Thank god I had an e-mail to proof this ) and eventually they took legal actions against me to the bring the car back.

This was last week. I still don't have my car. It is still not fixed and now NO ONE is responding to even tell me what is going on.

So I just bought a very expensive car that I don't even have to drive.

And what does BMW SA do about this. Nothing. It seems in BMW the dealerships has no much power that BMW SA can't do anything to them.

At Merc I never had any of these issues and if I rung Merc SA they normally get things sorted our for me within a few hours.

In short, DO NOT BUY A BMW, not because they aren't nice cars, but because if anything goes wrong you will be on your own and for me buying a car is all about the service I get so that I know if something goes wrong I am covered.

As soon as I eventually get my car back I will drive it to MERC, take the knock on the trade in and buy a new Merc just so that I never have to deal with BMW and Cedar Isle ever again!
