BMW Cedar Isle Auto, DO NOT purchases a second hand vehicle from them

I purchased a second hand 2013 Mercedes ML from Cedar Isle Auto for R450 000.00, the sales experience with Vance Waldeck was outstanding, the after sales service from the Sales Manager, Mr Graham Schultz has been disappointing and arrogant to say the least. On purchasing the vehicle, I noticed a knocking sound coming from the vehicle which Cedar Isle committed to rectifying. A misdiagnosis from Mercedes Centurion of the problem led to the replacement of the front shock, cost R39 000.00 which BMW duly paid for the R18 800.00 for the shortfall on the motor plan. The problem was finally diagnosed as being the transfer case and other odds and ends which has come to approximately R150 000.00, a motor plan shortfall contribution of R60 000.00 which I have had to pay for. I have diligently requested on numerous occasions, that BMW Cedar Isle pay for this shortfall as per our agreement, I have even offered to pay for 50% of this but, have been treated like a second class citizen, the Sales Manager, Graham Schultz really needs to have some etiquette when corresponding with clients. So the vehicle that I bought for R450 000.00 has already had roughly R190 000.00 worth of work done to it in the first three months of me purchasing it from BMW Cedar Isle ! Where are the consumers rights when purchasing a used vehicle from BMW Cedar Isle and where is the decency that should be attributed to a client when a problem arises, its very easy for BMW Cedar Isle to shirk their responsibility once the car leaves their premises ! BMW Cedar Isle, you are a severe disappointment to the industry ! So for those of you thinking of crossing the entrance threshold of BMW Cedar Isle, be warned that your journey may not be as smooth as you believe it to be.
