The Best Doctors and Nurses in the Eastern Cape.
My name is Athenkosi Angela Gamana and this is my complimentary review of how I was treated when I was a patient @ NONTYATYAMBO CLINIC, CECILIA MAKIWANE EYE CLINIC & WARD. I'll start by sending my endless gratitude towards DR. S. VAN DER MERWE( NONTYATYAMBO CLINIC) who attended to me on the 02/02/26. He went out of his way phoning specialists across country seeking 2nd opinion regarding my condition and for that I'll be forever grateful. He was kind & patient and referred to awesome doctor's at CECILIA MAKIWANE's EYE CLINIC, DR's GAUGULO & RAVJEE. Dr RAV... was fully aware of situation getting me the help I need instantly. I don't know where to start when it comes to DR GAUGULO, OMG she's a breath of fresh air, she's so positive it's contagious. Her faith healed me spiritually, mentally and emotionally, andisathethi ngoncumolwakhe. To the EYE WARD.... The whole staff from the head to the cleaning staff they were very friendly and patient with me, but the following people went out of their way to help me all ways possible. I would like to send a special THANK YOU TO(in no particular order): *Mrs. Mahlanza *Ma Jay *Mamu Nonkosi *Bathandwa Vokwana *Snesipho Nqeto *Babalwa Hohana *Sis Nozie THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ASSISTED ME IN THE 14 DAYS I STAYED THERE. Cecilia Makiwane Hospital is tops
We recently had to take our Son Joshua to Cecilia Makiwane in Mdantsane as he had appendicitis and it had to be removed. From the moment we arrived until he was discharged i can only say that the service was great. From the doctors to the nurses, we can only praise them for their integrity empathy and professionalism. Thank you for looking after our son with so much care. This is a great hospital and we are grateful to have such good staff and facilities at our disposal. For years we had a hospital plan and eventually had to cancel it as we could not afford the luxury of it anymore and for years the fear of having to one day make state facilities was great but it was unwarranted and ignorance. Cecelia Makiwane is a hospital i can recommend. A heartfelt thank you to Management and staff. Ward F5 staff day and nightshift you rock.
