In November 2024 CE Roofing namely Clifford Irving was awarded a contract to install electronic gate motors to an existing gate, install a ceiling board in the lounge area and repair the leaking valley on the roof. He was paid in full for the contract. 1. He installed the gate motors but the welding was totally unacceptable. As a result I had to get a 3rd party to rectify the welding as he refused to return to sort out the welding. Furthermore, the gate did not close properly and I had to get a 3rd party to fix the problem as he refused to correct the problem. 2. After his attempt to repair the leaking valley on the roof it leaked worse once the winter rains started. As a result I had to get a 3rd party in to repair the roof valley as he refused to fix the problem. 3. The replacement ceiling board in the lounge was never installed by him (Mr C Irving). He just walked away and refused to install the ceiling board. I have given Mr C Irving ample opportunity to reimburse me for rectifying his unprofessional work but he refuses to co-operate. As a result the case has been handed over to the Small Claims Court in Wynberg Cape Town. The case is pending awaiting a trail date.
