No Name Chinese *******

<p>I ordered an 8 camera, full HD, Infra Red CCTV package from CCTV Direct. When my ordered arrived via courier it contained a bunch of no name Chinese products that did not resemble the pictures used by CCTV Direct in their ads. The installation discs were in Mandarin and impossible to understand by myself or the security company I hired to install the system as CCTV Direct offers no installation option. When I contacted them for assistance via mail I was told they only sell hardware and couldn't assist with the installation. Because of this I have never been able to get the system to work over the Internet to my smartphone as advertised. After about 2 months the picture quality of the cameras starting getting worse and worse. Even in broad daylight outside you could not see the futures on a face with a supposedly Full HD 1080p camera. After 6 months the first camera stopped working. When I mailed CCTV Direct to ask if they would arrange a courier to pick up the faulty camera which was still under warranty I got no reply. It has now been 18 months and the recorded no also stopped working giving recording errors and resetting the whole time. I have now purchased a new CCTV recorded from a reputable vendor who offers support and a 2 year warranty. CCTV Direct are ************ who sells cheap ******* to prople over the Internet and the refuses to assist when it doesn't work. Stay well clear of this company.</p>
