Concealed gutter

In November 2021 I requested a quotation for a concealed gutter to be installed at my place. A gentleman came out to take measurements and would email me the quote the following week, I was not told what it would entail on my part like drilling a hole in the wall and cutting the trusses to fit the gutter. I thought that they do the complete work of installing the gutter with the necessary modification for the gutter to fit. A week later after I received the quote and made payment of R2,004.57, a work team of 5 workers arrived to install a 4metre gutter. They were under the impression that everything was done like the cutting of the trusses and the hole in the wall , all they had to do was to roll out the gutter and ***** in place. they made up a header box which was cut to pieces, glued and pop riveted, it was a mess-up! When I asked about the necessary work that had to be done I was told they don't do that! So I had the responsibility of cutting the trusses and making the hole and having to install it myself. Since last year after numerous request I'm still waiting for a refund of R500 and the new header box, I was told to send my banking details and I would get a new header box, but every week it's different stories. So I'm sitting with a 4metre gutter that cost me R1,500 which I'm waiting to install!
