Order paid, never delivered - unresponsive after payment

I placed an order with CCMU Trading SA (***) on 1 September 2026 and paid R10,397.00 via EFT. Three weeks later, the goods have still not been delivered.

Since payment, phone calls have been rejected or ended immediately, and emails/messages are marked as read but go unanswered. On 18 September I managed to get through and was told to contact the courier myself to find the status of my own order. When I pointed out that this was the seller's responsibility, I was told "okay" and the call was ended.

I was separately contacted by a party ("Jet Express Courrier) claiming to be the courier, and rudelt demanding a further R6,556.00 "insurance" fee before delivery - I did not pay this.

I have opened a case with SAPS and reported this to my bank. I'm posting this so other buyers can make an informed decision before paying this company.
