Ccma unhelpful

I recently worked for a local company for a two month period, the initial agreement was to complete a 3 month probation period there after becoming permanent. Due to the poor working conditions/ ***** and internal safety issues I placed a formal resignation via email and 6 days later left. My salary for that period had not been paid, after visiting the Ccma twice thus far, I received no concrete or informative feedback. Please advise is the Ccma designed for the employee or employer?
