ccma is biased
unfairly dismissed in May 2014. The presiding officer at my internal hearing was a former ccma commissioner still with influence at the ccma. I took the matter to the ccma. The owner's wife was unconcerned as she had never lost a case at the ccma before. Hearing results were due on 26 May. I was paid for full month on 27 May but then dismissed on 28 May. My conclusion was that the presiding officer found me not guilty but was then asked to change to a guilty verdict since the company would never pay a cent more than is due. The matter went to arbitration. 8 days before the arbitration, the company requested a postponement which was rightfully denied. However, on the day of the hearing, the owner pitched up unprepared and without a single document. He knew in advance that he will get a postponement which he requested. Against my objection, the postponement was granted by a senior commissioner who suddenly took over the case. He allowed evidence from the company into the hearing which were not part of the original charges and ignored most of my evidence. The internal presiding office was supposed to be a witness for the company. When I made it known that I intended questioning
