I sold my property with an estate agent Khawulane Properties in May 2019, the agency appointed CBI Attorneys to handle the transfer. The transfer of the property was registered on 23rd October 2019, but the transfer took place before the estate was lodged and registered with the master of the high court, and before the L&D accounts were laid for public inspection. I moved out of my property on the 1st November 2019 so the new owner can move in before I received my payment, after a meeting with the director, the estate administrator, the new owner, the property agent and myself to let the new owner move in to the property and paid 50% advance of my distribution. They advised that the balance for the 50% will be paid by the 15th December 2019 after the 21days of advertising the estate at the government gazette and masters consent obtained. I have been sending follow up emails to Nuan (estate admin)since the 29th November but only respond to my email when he feels like it as if they are doing me a favour, not surprisingly as he delayed the whole process and still not making follow up. I am very upset as I have put my plans to purchase a new property on hold due the funds CBI is withholding. This is ********* business practice and I will be taking the matter to the Law Society Of South Africa
