CBI Attorneys & Harcourts Failed Me – Delays, No Updates, No Refund

This property transfer has been a nightmare from the start.

The original deal was handled through Harcourts and their preferred attorneys, who misused trust funds. The matter was then escalated to Harcourts National Office, who appointed CBI Attorneys in 2024 to fix the mess. For a short while, things seemed to be progressing — until they weren’t.

Since then, I’ve been ignored, misled, and left completely in the dark. Every email I send to CBI is either ignored or met with the same generic response: “We’re waiting on Standard Bank.” No explanation, no timelines, no accountability.

I’ve now formally requested a refund and cancellation, but have received no written response. I’ve sent a final escalation and still nothing.

This process has dragged on for years, and it has cost me emotionally and financially. I would not recommend CBI Attorneys Alberton or Harcourts to anyone. They have both failed me — repeatedly.
