Manufactured product short service life & poor service

<p>Electronic timer switch QAT-DM and QAT-R-DM stated to operate for a minimum of 25000 "operations"....I assume this to be one opening /closing cycle of the contact points. This should equal a life of 17 years in my installation. Mine (and a colleague's) operated for 4 years (2900 operations) before failing and replacement at R572,00! Two emails to the manufacturer CB Electric have elicited NO RESPONSE at all. Email delivery was confirmed.</p> <p>DO NOT PURCHASE THIS POOR QUALITY TIMER SWITCH.</p>
