Where do I begin?

Baught a Repsol from Cayenne, Paid cash deposit so they could immediately start prepping the bike for a speedy delivery. Frequently phoned the Sales Person Ignatius to get updates and was promised everything was on track. This was the Wednesday, and we were looking for delivery the Saturday. Get there the Saturday, and there's fault on the bike, fan keeps on, its connecter with the **** switch. After all the hype was saddened that I wont be getting the bike. I get offered a loan, because they would sort the problem out in 2 days,

Here the fun starts, a whole week of empty promises and a lot of lies later another week has passed, supposedly the harnass was replaced, the fan switch was done and everything will be sorted. And the truth, nothing is sorted fan still goes on **** switch,

I spoke with the Dealer princepal Mike and He tells me that "this wasn't the way we do business"and he'll get involved. At this point it needs to be noted that is someone from Cayenne tells you they'll get back to you, that means phone again, if you want updates, they don't phone back.

Finally Mike decides there's too many problems with the Repsol, the deal is off. (How do you put stock on the floor if there are so many faults you cannot do a deal on them)

He's just gotten in a ZX10 and It's mine if I want it. YES!!! I want it, and I want it asap. After another week make arrangements and ask them with this one please make sure all is sorted you have the whole week. Once again Ig promises, yes all sorted, between Ig and Mike I'm promised , new tyre, new battery, full service, spare key, licenced and bike will be 100% at delivery.

Delivery Day, Bike looks good.... but, numberplate is still an ******* plate, which wouldn't matter anyway as there is no disc on the bike, not even a disc holder. as " it will be delivered monday", with the spare key that was also forgotten. The new tyre is a used tyre with a plug from a previous puncture. all together its actually a joke wit with a heart filled with more "promises" I take delivery.

On the drive home first the bike is reluctant to start, like a flat battery. but Ig assures me, "no its a new battery", plus driving home it feels like the damper isn't 100% or the front tyre is flat. This is supposedly a bike that was now checked by salesmam, DP, and service department.

Get home, Phone Ig and say, I'm not happy, please come fetch the bike and sort out the steering. I get a lot of attitude, why cant I bring it back to the dealership? Uhm maybe because I don't feel like dying ? They finally pick it up under protest, which they would have had to do anyway as the bike needed to go in for the key to be coded. after yet another week, a lot of not coming back to you and about 4 hours of phoning from my side, I demand they deliver the bike, which Ig reluctantly does on a friday evening 7pm.

I think, oh well, besides that they wont see ma again, at least I have the bike and I'm sorted. Then the bike stands for 3 days due to rain, so I cant ride it. But tomorrow...... start the bike.... nothing. Yes thats right, the Brand new battery is a brand new 2011, phone around and Ig can get one for 970, great but as usual only in a couple of days. I get one for R999 and decide R20 isn't the end of the world, they can just Re-emburse me.

So here I am, another week of empty promises and I get told stories once again, and no money.

So the bottom line, Whatever you do, DO NOT, EVER buy from Cayenne, you'll spend your days with problems, broken bikes, lies and a lot of running around.

I've never received such poor service, even my local municipality gived better service.

Ok, so Update on the Review.
I was contacted by Rual de Vos. He came as a breath of fresh air, he wasn't too surprised by the antics of my salesman, but informed me that he no longer worked at Cayenne, and Rual would sort out any and all of my problems.
I must say, he almost single headedly restored my faith in Cayenne, as he went very far and beyond to make sure that I was going to be a happy customer at the end. They went over the Bike again and made sure that it was in excellent condition, setting me at ease knowing that this time round he got a real professional Petrus van der Merwe, to look the bike over, and fix any possible issues.
Rual gave great after sales service, and returned phone calls every time he promised, even delivering the bike to my house after work, to make sure he made good on his promise of delivery that day.
Thankyou Cayenne, but most of all Thankyou Rual and Petrus, for delivering on other people’s promises, and doing everything right the first time round. Excellent service given with a smile.
I'm sure Cayenne will see me again.
