Pathetic service !!!

I made a reservation for 14 people to celebrate my birthday at Saxenburg and the guy that did my booking over the phone was very accommodating, he even gave me the private conference room which I was very grateful for. We get to the place 20min later than usual because we got a bit of traffic and whilst waiting for the rest of the group to arrive we decide to take some pictures outside. The manager on duty on the 13th March 2020 decided to come outside with his clip board and tell us that we need to come inside as we're already 20 minutes late (very unfriendly). We order our food and drinks and I cannot help but notice that this very same manager passes our section every 10 seconds and peaks in as if he cannot wait for us to leave. My niece (3yrs old) stands in the doorway, not disturbing anyone, the manager comes and tells us not to let her play in the doorway because she's disturbing other guests as she's banging in the door frame... I witnessed no banging. Then cherry on the cake for me was when i asked the waiter if we could my birthday cake there, he refused and said if we cut the cake there they will charge us R20 per person. I then asked what if we cut the cake inside and eat the cake in the parking lot, he then went and spoke to the manager which told him to inform us that we will be charged R20 per person if we just cut the cake inside. The food tastes lovely, but they could give people value for their money by giving a fuller plate, their portions are pathetic. R3500 later and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service received at this Cattle Barron's. Definitely not recommended!!!
