2 hour food delays

Last night, Wednesday 25 October 2017 we took my grandparents out for supper. Let me first state that we are regular customers at your establishment with even having had my grandfather's 80th birthday there earlier this year in June.

Last night we booked a table for 7.30pm for 7 people. Upon arrival our waiter took our drinks orders and starter order. We waited over an hour for our starters to be served to us. The drinks took forever to come. My grandfather is still waiting for a straw (just by the way).

We called the manager numerous times. And he decided that our food which was coming every 10 minutes could be compensated by a plate of chilli poppers.

The numerous amounts of people around us were enquiring as to why their food was taking just as long. There were 2 couples next to us, with one being from Ireland. What an experience they had. Talk about pathetic and utterly poor service. No one was informing us with regard to what was going on in the kitchen. Another couple with their 2 young children who came in just after us were also enquiring as to what was going on as the kids were getting restless after waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes and still, NO FOOD!

Eventually after enquiring with everyone, we were informed that the kitchen was back logged and we were still receiving our food in 10 minutes time. Mind you, it was 1 hour and 45 minutes later. My 80 year old grandparents had still not eaten.

At 9pm the couple next to us with their friends from Ireland finally received their food after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Their food was ICE COLD and UNDER COOKED. They sent their food back numerous times. The other couple with the 2 small children who walked in after us received their food before us. The gentleman's lemon butter was frozen solid. They too sent their food back. At 9.07pm we finally got up and walked out. Followed by the 2 couples and the family with their 2 kids.

Cattle Baron Pinelands, we are HIGHLY disappointed with your pathetic service. You have always been dear to us since you opened your doors. The service we received was atrocious. Needless to say, you lost out big time. The Steers in Pinelands received all of us with open arms. We enjoyed quick, warm and delicious burgers. So thank you once again for the worst service we've ever received at any restaurant.
