Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront - poor management and unreliable bookings

I have always enjoyed going to the Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront, but now, for the second time, they have messed up a reservation - my Christmas Luncheon reservation for my family this year. Last year we had an enjoyable lunch there on 25 December, which would prove to have been the last Christmas my stepfather would be with us before dying.

My wife made a booking for lunch on 25 December 2018 a few months ago. When visiting the restaurant yesterday to confirm and pay a deposit, they alleged we had no booking. After searching through their disorganized booking system, our name was found, but a booking had actually not been made erroneously. They could only accommodate us at 15:00 on Christmas day at a table outside in the elements. Both these factors would be unacceptable given my mother's age of 89.

On a previous occasion they also made a mess of my booking and we were seated at a highly uncomfortable folding table. Not again.

A pleasant restaurant is spoiled by pathetic management. Rather avoid this venue for special occasions as your booking may prove not to be a booking

I rate them zero for depriving me of recalling pleasant memories with my stepfather - the last Christmas he had on earth
