Unprofessional crematorium

Doesnt fall under medical but there is nothing close. Cedar Ridge crematorium made a double booking on the day of my fathers memorial and we were only notified late the night before making us soent the evening notifying everyone that my fathers memorial would be held 2 hours earlier than booked (bearing mind my dad passed away on 28 April and memorial was hooked for 21 May). This affected family and friends on different time zones overseas and everyone related to my fathers memorial. The chapel is right next to the furnaces and at one stage we couldnt hear the eulogy being given as the furnaces were so loud whilst cremating someone elses beloved. When I complained to the owners their response was 'we only human and mistakes happen'. Really so a dr takes off your leg instead of removing your appendix and he is only human so sorry about the error. When you are entrusted with a family's beloved you run your business professionally so double bookings never happen. From the owners response, in my opinion, they dont care about you or your deceased loved one. Dont recommend it at all. My mom was cremated at Stellawood and it was wonderful what we endured at Cedar Ridge with my dad I would not wish on anybody who has lost a loved one. In an article one owner is quoted as saying their aim was to offer "dignified satisfaction"......far from it in my opinion.
