worst service
we bought a mini doughnut machine from catering shop online in centurion on 30th of April 2025. From the 1st time we used it we had problems with it, we let them know about the issues we have with the machine on the 8th of May, after alot of complaining they agreed to collect the machine and sort out the problems we have with it. On the 20th of may they collected the machine. We got no feedback we had to phone every week to find out whats going on with our machine. Apparently some of the bits on the machine is made from the incorect material, causing it to stretch, the plunger is bent, and the motor is not strong enough and needs to be rewired to make it stronger. They could not tel us when the machine would be ready and eventualy on the 18th of June brought us a machien back that wasnt ours, when we phoned them they apologised ans said they sent the wrong machine, and the next day sent us another machine that wasnt ours. We called again and we got told if that isnt our machine they dont know where our machine is, and that we can take this machine they sent us. We told them to then give us a new machine if they dont know where our machine is and we got told they dont have stock and dont know when they wil have stock again, we then said to give our money back and got told they dont do refunds. We used the machine they said we must keep and the machine does exactly the same that our machine did (the reason our machine was sent in). When we called again to tel them about it and said we want to speak to someone higher up we got blocked. Its now almost 2 months later and we still sitting with the same issue but with a 2nd hand machine now and not getting any feedback or solutions from anyone
Ms. Luzaan purchased a brand-new doughnut machine from us on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. The unit was collected by Luzaan in a sealed box, directly from our warehouse.
The first complaint was received more than nine days later, on 8th May 2025, when Ms. Luzaan contacted Hawa from our Repairs Department. She shared both images and a video highlighting an issue with the machine. It is important to note that the machine had already been in use for over a week by this time.
On 9 May 2025, a second video was sent, further showing the machine's issue. This was immediately escalated to our technician, Maandi, who attempted to troubleshoot the issue with Ms. Luzaan via video call.
We requested that the machine be brought in for physical inspection and possible repair. When she was unable to do so, we offered to collect the machine at our own cost, which was arranged for 19 May 2025—after Ms. Luzaan took some time to decide.
Upon inspection, our team confirmed that the machine was functioning but was dispensing deformed and uneven mini doughnuts. We identified that this required the shaft to be modified, which would need to be done by our engineering team—a process that could take some time.
To ensure Ms. Luzaan’s business operations were not interrupted:
- We loaned her a Brand new 6-hole doughnut machine from our showroom floor which was our very last one we had in stock.
- Additionally, we provided a brand-new semi-automatic doughnut machine for her to keep, acknowledging the delay the shaft modification would cause.
Despite our continued support and bearing all collection and delivery costs, Ms. Luzaan remains in possession of:
- Our loan unit brand new 6-hole Doughnut Machine,
- And a brand-new semi-automatic Doughnut machine.

1. We work day jobs, so we do markets on weekends so we did not use the machine from day one but the 1st time we used it it was faulty, we only used it for two market before the machine was collected battleing with it because we had no other choice.
2. First comlaint was after using it for the first time
3. The issue was escalated to the tech, who did attempted to help, but he said he could not help over the phone and it would be better to get the machine to them, he said he wil talk to Hawa and she will cal back, we did not hear anything back and had to phone her to find out what is the next step
4. We told them we can only bring in the machine on a saturday because we work monday to friday and it would be difficult to get there during the week because we stay in germiston, Hawa offerd to colect the machine and said an uber wil collect on the 19th of may, the uber never came, then your driver came and collected it on the 20th
5. no one gave us any time period on how long it wil take to be repair. We got no updates at all we had to call to find out what is going on and that is when we were told about the repairs that needs to be done, and that the machine must go to the engeneers to get fixed, Hawa said it wil take a week or two, but after that we had no update, we had to phone every few days to find out wats going on and on the 3 june we were told they stil busy.
6. on the 22nd of may we got the 6 hole machine that did help a bit but it took to long to make doughnuts if we got busy at a market and we only used it on two events because of that reason.
We also got a semi automatic machine delivered to us that Hawa said was our machine that was in a terrible condition, our machine was only used on 2 events and was still brand new. Hawa then said they sent us the wrong machine and sent us a diferent machine that still wasnt our machine and has the same problems ours had
7.we do stil have the "new" 6 hole machine and the "brand new semi-automatic machine" that has a productoin date on from 2023 was full of dough and oil when it was droped of by us we were told the by Hawa that she doesnt know where our machine is and that we can keep these two machines for that reason, but the problem is this machine is doing exactly the same as the one we sent back we paid alot of money to now have a second hand machine doing having the same problem our brand new one had.
the concern is that this brand new machine that was full of oil and dough that you sent back to us with a 2023 production date on it is doing the same as our machine we sent you to sort out. No one had a issue to talk on whatsapp when we had to pay all they money and when they had answers for us, as soon as they didnt no what to say anymore we got blocked, that is very fair and respectfull, and a good way to show your commitment to resolving this issue.
