Poor quality bakery equipment, stay away!

We bought our startup bakery equipment with them in Dec 2022 but only started baking in the second week of January 2023. Three weeks after that the proofer stopped working. When we told them about this, they told us for an exchange we must pay R5000. We bought this proofer for R10 000 and we have not even used it that much for it to break. We ended up buying another proofer elsewhere.

It’s January 2024, the 50 litre dough mixer we bought from them also broke. The motor has died. How is this even possible? We have only baked about 25 000 loaves from this mixer. Really disappointed in the quality of their products. Either they are selling used equipment as new or selling very low quality equipment. I would not recommend anyone buying from them. I am distraught! We invested so much money and for this to happen, it’s killing the bakery in an already difficult economy.
