Awful consulting firm - do NOT use them!

<p>I am a project manager/ consultant and app**** for a contract position at a large fianncial services firm through CatalytIQ which is a consulting firm. After 2 months of interviews and them contionuously leading me to believe that I would start on the project in Dec or latest Jan 2017, I got a surprise phone call from them at the 11th hour to say that the deal has fallen through. However, this can happen in business. But when I tried to phone the lead consultant (Helen Berry) she point blank refused to speak to me, and emailed me to say the following:</p> <p>"The client is looking for other candidates. I think we can bank that the deal is lost and we need to move forward now. A conversation with me won't change the outcome I am afraid. " and then in a follow up email:</p> <p>"You are not entitled to any further explanation."</p> <p>In this day and age where business ethics is so key, it is very diappointing that there are businesses out there who conduct themselves in such a menner and treat people with such utter disrespect.</p>
