Price shock and dismissive service

Cat Box Pet Hyper Nasty Price Shock on Bird Suet Prices I buy bird suet at Cat Box Pet Hyper for the wild birds. On the 15th Aug I paid R285 for a bag of 12 suet slabs. On the 22nd of August I paid R360 for the same item. A R75 increase!!!! Or 26.3% I phoned the Cat Box Pet Hyper Head Office to speak to the procurement department but apparently the lady was not there so I left a message for her to call me back which, not surprisingly, she did not do. So I contacted her and she said that it was due to annual price increases and petrol prices. We had our conversation with me arguing that it is a hell of an increase and she said that their pricing had nothing to do with customers?? Really, it has a lot to do with customers!!! I said that I am going to go public with this. To which she responded that I am most welcome to do so. So here I am: I would normally buy R1140 of suet from their stores monthly. Now it will cost me R1440 and being dismissed by a young millennial Cat Box employee very rudely was the final straw! What I have done: I went to Nature's Heart an online store which delivers to your home and I get it at a much cheaper price, so Cat Box Hyper you have lost a good customer!!
