COCHROACH INFESTATION AT THE SPA

I received a 3hour spa voucher and we had a booking for yesterday (20 July 2025). When we arrived we were sitting in the lobby of the hotel with a lot of other people. After 9am, someone came to fetch us to take us up to the spa. When we arrived there, we gave in the voucher which they confirmed was a 3hour session and we went to the waiting area until they took us to the room. When we got to the room, we were instructed to get undress and lay on the beds. The room was extremely dark with a very dim loadshedding light in the room. After a while the the******s came into the room and started the full body massage. After the massage, we were told to get dressed, thereafter we went to reception to ask where we should go next and they instructed us to go back to the room to get undress again for our facials and scrubs. There was so much confusion, even the the******s told us that they weren't told about our other treatments as they didn't know what our session entailed as reception didn't communicate properly. After our facials, we were told that we must put on our gowns as we would do the body scrub in the shower which will be followed by the couples sauna session. While we were in the shower, I saw a ****roach walking along the shower head and my husband took something to kill it. I decided to get out and opened the sauna door then I saw ****roaches running from the side of the door, I immediately closed it and told my husband that I refuse to get in the sauna. We decided to get dressed and went to reception. I told the receptionist that we had to cut our sesion short because we saw ****roaches running around in the bathroom and she just smiled and said we will clean it soon. She didn't apologise or sympathise whatsoever. It looks like they are used to these creatures in the spa. I felt so dirty and it felt as if I could feel insects walking on my body when we left. When I got home, my sister checked the reviews which confirmed how filthy and infested the spa is and clearly management is not addressing the problem. I don't understand how this spa is "fully booked" when the standards of this place are pathetic and unhygienic. Management should have this place fumigated and do proper maintenance. I am utterly disgusted at the experience we received at this spa.
